Our farm is based on the principles of the permaculture approach (sustainable agriculture) and has an ecological perspective.

We strive to bring people closer to nature, to themselves and to each other, and to cultivate the relationships between them.

Our farm combines practical ecology and the creation of quality, developmental, and enjoyable content: such as community events, culture, self-development retreats, and diverse workshops in the fields of sustainability and permaculture, movement and health, consciousness, and spirit.

The farm offers hands-on experiences in ecological and permaculture practices, we promote environmental awareness and encourage sustainable practices.

Participants in our groups acquire practical skills, deepen their understanding of ecosystems, and leave empowered to make positive changes in their lives. The learning process is done through interactive activities, workshops, and community engagement. Our farm serves as a place for hands-on learning, raising participants’ awareness of themselves and the environment, and encouraging them to take part in the sustainable design of our lives.

Ecological

When man and nature meet

We strive to create a sustainable living space where nature and man blend together as harmoniously as possible. Our farm includes many ecosystems, we have compost services, an ecological pond, a solar electricity system, gas produced from food waste, an organic vegetable field, an edible forest and a variety of fruit trees, free-range chickens, goats, donkeys and more…

Growing food is an important part of the farm's fabric of life: our crops form a healthy and nutritious basis for our daily diet, serving the residents of the surrounding community and the farm's guests. The field also hosts workshops and visits on the subject of organic farming, which is very important to us.

Healthy and accessible food is a significant part of our approach to sustainability.

We believe that simpler systems are also more sustainable. Simplicity and sustainability go hand in hand on our farm.

How it all started

The name Nachat Ruach is based on the initials of the Tirosh family, who founded the family farm. The farm, which has existed since 1921.

Grandpa Asher, great-grandfather of Itay, the founder of the farm, arrived at the moshav with the founders' first wagon and established the farm with his own hands.

This is where his son Amnon, Itay's grandfather, was born, who developed the farm and from one cow and a chicken to establish a magnificent farm, and we continue his path.

The former barn and chicken coop have changed their purpose, but the agricultural, pioneering and entrepreneurial spirit beats within us, and today it is an agricultural, ecological, educational and tourist farm with a family atmosphere.

Our ambition is to live the correction we would like to see in the world.

A life of simplicity and closeness to others, to nature and to ourselves. We want to bring the issues of ecology and healthy relationships with nature closer to everyone possible. In fact, bringing a person closer to nature and others gives him important life skills and empowers him and his ability to improve his life. Therefore, it was important for us to create meaningful content that supports the self- and personal development of the individual. Our farm is not only a home for ecology but also a living educational and developmental center.
