Sustainability and Agriculture
Introductory workshop to permaculture

Permaculture is a holistic approach to sustainable living and stewardship of the land. It is a design philosophy that integrates principles from ecology, agriculture, and social systems to create resilient, resilient environments. At its core, permaculture seeks to emulate the patterns and principles found in nature, recognizing that the efficiency and productivity of natural ecosystems, which have evolved over thousands of years, are unquestionable. Permaculture design strives to create man-made systems that are not only environmentally sustainable but also socially and economically beneficial.
In the workshop we will learn about the principles of permaculture, how to apply the approach to growing organic vegetables, and other topics. We will leave the workshop with practical knowledge for applying the permaculture approach to growing our vegetables. We will get to know the different crops in the field, experience planting, harvesting, and caring for plants. We will talk about the 'no dig' method and its meanings. We will learn about how we can grow healthy and happy vegetables.
